FOOD AS MEDICINE: BEAUTIFUL, BOUNTIFUL BREAKFAST BOWL

This recipe is VEGAN, Ayurvedic as well as absolutely delicious. When we eat nutritious, nourishing foods with seasonal awareness then we naturally have greater alignment within our bodies as well as with Mother Gaia. Eat good, feel good, do good:)
INGREDIENTS
1 cup cooked basmati rice
½ cup plant milk, I prefer coconut milk as it takes the other flavors without adding additional flavor
1 teaspoon maple syrup (add more if you prefer sweeter taste)
1 banana (or you could use and apple)
3 dates chopped in half or diced if you prefer
¼-½ teaspoon pumpkin spice blend
INSTRUCTIONS
Place this all together in a small pot and heat to desired warmth.
Add to your favorite bowl and garnish with sunflower seeds, berries of choice and one tablespoon of peanut butter, almond butter or sunflower butter
