Celebrate when Prospects Unsubscribe

Celebrate when Prospects Unsubscribe

I’ve been getting lots of questions from clients and Club Members about what to do when you get a lot of people unsubscribing to your newsletter, membership site, Facebook group, etc… and I wanted to nip it in the bud.

When people opt-out or cancel any subscriptions, celebrate. When you worry about those people who no longer want to hear from you— you are simply wasting precious time. The real problem you should be dealing with is attracting new leads and getting in front of those who would happily take their place. Do you have an automated strategy for that? If not, you should.

In fact, I’m going to suggest you start emailing more often, sharing more rad ideas in your group, and maybe even up your prices for your Membership site so you can find out who's really a HOT LEAD. There are a zillion new leads out there who would happily take their place — why furrow your brow and get wrinkly for those people who don’t matter?

Remember this: when you worry about who doesn’t like you or no longer wants to hear from you, learn from you, or buy your stuff, think of it as a blessing. It’s the push you need to get marketing and in front of NEW leads, which should be your primary job 7 days a week.

Check out this FB post that I did yesterday - Business Tip of the Day

Learn more about our Pro level Club Membership and start advertising to find those new leads. We’re here to help, when you’re ready to get serious.

Now… go celebrate!

3 WAYS TO MARKET IN FACEBOOK GROUPS

Many of my clients tell me about their constant frustration with Facebook. If you don’t know already, Fanpage owners have had a rough time getting more of their Fans to see their posts. Facebook is a business, and it decided one day to monetize even more by ushering Fanpage owners into paying to have more of their fans see posts.

Frustrating, indeed.

The good news? Even if you aren’t too happy with Facebook right now, you can still take advantage of this tremendous social media platform by using Facebook groups and doing that thing that helps build your business: building relationships with your Ideal Clients.

Here are my top three tips to help you use Facebook Groups to market your business in a non-sleazy, holistic way!

Pick Highly Targeted Groups

One of the key factors in marketing is always to niche down and get specific about what your services are, and who they are meant to serve. This same principle applies to everything in your business, including marketing in Facebook groups.

Make sure that the groups you choose to join actually have your Ideal Clients in them! If not, you are wasting your time. Remember that as awesome as it can be to network with your peers, your business is built on getting new clients who don’t have the knowledge or skills you have, and they aren’t going to necessarily be in the same groups as your peers.

“50

For example, if you’re a health coach, using groups that have fellow Health Coaches in them isn’t targeted. That group is where others in your industry hang out. Instead, find groups that have men or women who are trying to lose weight or eat healthier, depending on what problem you help your clients solve.

Introduce Yourself!

I know this isn’t rocket science, but introducing yourself is important for you to be seen in the groups you have chosen to join. Most group members rarely make an appearance. You want to be a thought leader in your chosen groups. You want to be seen, and stand out.

Make sure you introduce yourself as soon as you join, and in your introduction, mention what you do for work, and how you help your clients, as well as who your Ideal Client is.

ENGAGE

The key to success in Facebook groups is consistent engagement. By engaging. By adding high value content. By not spamming. By being helpful and consistent.

If you follow these top Facebook marketing tips, you’re not only going to get more clients, you’re going to make some incredible friendships. I truly believe Facebook groups are the best way to find and interact with your Ideal Clients, regardless of what industry you’re in.

21 Resources for Business & Life

21 Resources for Business & Life

Ideas are the currency of the future. As a Holistic Fashionista, your ability to come up with great ideas and turn them into things your customers need and will buy is key to your livelihood.

Going to the well for innovative ideas doesn’t have to be difficult. Here are some places to look for new and exciting ideas.

1| Your competitors. Do what they do, differently or better.

2| Your own life. What would make your life easier? What pisses you off? What problem needs to be solved? Solutions to these may make your life better while also being the answer to your clients’ challenges.

3| Kids. Inspirational fonts.

4| Nature. Take a walk outside or watch The Blue Planet. Did you know bees are a great model for business operations?

5| Your employees. They see things you may not.

6| Brainstorming sessions. Duh.

7| Customers. They can help you spot and develop new products, services or maybe even a new industry. Listen to their feedback.

8| Focus groups. Gather a posse of potential clients and let ‘em riff. Take notes.

9| Meditation. Quieting a busy mind allows Divine sparks to light up your life.

10| Play ball. Spin, or shake your Zumba. Studies show that those who exercise regularly score higher on creativity tests than their couch potato peers.

11| Other industries. Can you morph what they’re doing into something unique for your business?

The Club

12| Sci-Fi. Or other movies. Seriously. Good. Inspiration.

13| Books. Be a voracious reader. Ideas live in every genre.

14| Be present to life. Simply paying attention to your daily experience will show you opportunities.

15| Make art. Do improv, or learn a musical instrument. Opening your creative side will make you more aware and receptive to new things, including ideas.

16| Hang with smart people. Take them to lunch, go to a Science Pub Night or Poetry Slam or chat up a new FaceBook group.

17| Make some new friends. Ideally outside your industry. Cross-pollination, different perspectives and such.

18| Take a class. At your local community college, Udemy, etc. In your field -- or something wildly different.

19| Look at existing products with a fresh eye. The “patch” as a delivery system for drugs is a spiffed up Band-Aid. What can you transfer to your biz?

20| Get out of Dodge. Someplace foreign is best. Psychologists say multicultural experiences facilitate the complex cognitive processes behind innovative thinking. That’s a nice souvenir.

21| Give yourself a test. Being open to new ideas means your mind has to be plastic. Pop quiz: Think of as many uses for a brick? A strand of tinsel? How many uses you come up with, the originality and elaborateness of your ideas are key. “Testing” yourself may just shine light on some great insight for your business.

HOW TO PROMOTE AND MARKET A HOLISTIC BUSINESS

Article: Angel Quintana

Promoting a holistic business needs to be done with care. You got into business to make money, but you also got into business to truly make a difference. That ingredient is what makes you different. You see, your message is about humanities and love. Not to sound mushy here, but when you market a holistic business you need to do so with care.

As a holistic business, you have a personal attachment to what you are selling because (most likely) you once struggled with this problem. So when you reach down deep in your soul, it doesn't a part of you and that is what expected of you as a leader in your niche

Let me give you some tips on how to promote and market your holistic business so you not only stand out in a saturated market, but you take competition out of your vocabulary because you know you are one-of-a-kind.

Tip #1: Have a Strong Voice

Now, this doesn't mean you can be controversial or even rebellious-- in fact, I would recommend that you be both. The biggest hurdle to showing up on social media, in your articles, and your ezine is to do it with a strong voice. If you water down your message, you're going to sound like everyone else.

This could also mean coming up with your own terminology or buzzwords. Think about how you speak to your friends, what words have you made up or use frequently to get your point across? Is there humor in there somewhere? If you can use your real personality to generate buzz around your holistic business this will get people talking about you and referral-based marketing is the best (and FREE) promotion ever!

Tip #2: Keep it Designer

Another great way to promote your holistic business that will set you up for success is to assure that everything you put out into the ether is TOP NOTCH. This includes copywriting, advertisements and marketing collateral, professional photography, and consistency. When you position your holistic business like a luxury brand, your perceived value increase and that's what I like to call a great marketing strategy!

Tips #3: Establish Expert Status

Everyday you should ask yourself, "What can I do today to show I am an expert at what I do?" This will help you with all your social media posts, articles, and more. Knowing you are an expert at what you do isn't enough to win the business. You're going to have to show, without being trite, that you know your stuff.

Showcasing testimonials occasionally in your social media posts or on your website is a must. The more you clout you can build, the better. This also goes with finding the right publicity. You never want to hurt your reputation by showing up on an unprofessional blog or website, or worse on the cover of a magazine that looks like poo poo. Trust me, as much as you think being on the cover of just any magazine give you credibility, the fact is, it doesn't-- especially if you are looking to position your holistic business as a luxury brand.

Tip #4: Don't be a Bad Salesman

Whether you like it or not, every entrepreneur must be a salesman to some degree. You know your product better than anyone else and it's always a good idea to polish up your salesmanship. Being a bad salesman merely means-- your sales tactics are working. If you are currently experiencing a lack of sales or customers, if could very well be your approach to sales.

Sharpen your sales skills by sharing more of your authentic voice, instead of drowning it out with ambiguity. Your people are actively searching for you, but if they can't hear you (or don't want to hear you), you'll never be able to serve them. Salesmanship comes from a deep understanding of knowing and believing 100% that your product or service solves their problem.

That said, you don't need to force your product down anyone's throat, if you done your job correctly and your sales skills are shining through the right customers will knock on your door. The more you work on your selling your products with your own authentic voice, the sooner your tribe will be able to find you and start speaking your same language. And that's great promotion!

Allow your Inner Expression of Creativity to shine & spread like Wildfire.

When we are super passionate about something, we want to tell the world. We want to place it on a blimp in the sky for everyone to see it. It is so easy to get discourage during your journey if you feel as though your message isn’t being heard or even understood.

I know your heart is yearning to act on your mission, spread your message, and inspire other people to take action.

Here are a few ideas on spreading your message:

1.  Team up with others who share your vision. Ask for help with endorsing your message through social media and other outlets that maybe helpful. It will make it so much easier to team up. You will be able to have more creative items added to your vision and message. I always say two heads are better than 1.

2.  Post quotes or create an inspiring blog. A message that will be able to help others is key. When you are able to motivate and inspire others in your own unique way, your message is bound to spread. Your blog or quotes can very well be intriguing to others just by having a powerful message. I strongly believe in creating your own style and flair. This will allow you to stand out from the rest to really prove to yourself and others that your heart only beats for the passion behind your message.

3.  Be your unique self.  Don’t be afraid to be yourself with delivering your message to the world. It is super important to be authentic and genuine. Never step outside the genuine box with your delivery. I can’t stress how important this step is. Honesty is everything and this 7 letter word must be included with your delivery.

“The

4.  Last but not least! Be Consistent.  If you are super serious and passionate about this one thing, stick to it and allow your message to flourish. If your message isn’t consistent, you will confuse others. Stick to what you are passionate about. You can't have consistency without improving your willpower. Consistency requires willpower to achieve anything.

Think about what your message is about and what you are trying to convey. There is nothing greater than having a powerful message that transforms lives and resonates with your soul. Allow it to bloom and spread like wildfire across the world. This will happen naturally as you continue to create a supportive team, post quotes, create an inspiring blog, be honest and true to who you are, and being consistent.

Sending Love & Light to you through spreading your inspiring message to the world!
