Impostor Syndrome: How Comparison is Stifling Your Success

Impostor syndrome is a psychological pattern in which an individual doubts their skills, talents or accomplishments and has a persistent internalized fear of being exposed as a "fraud".

Want to know the fastest trap for to get there? Comparison.

Ever look at social media and think, “gosh, she is so ___insert pretty, perfect, chic, on brand, etc etc etc___. Wish I could be as awesome as her” and then you start to tell yourself things like “maybe I’m not legit enough. Maybe I need to level up my brand. Maybe I need nicer things. Maybe I just am faking it more than making it.

And then, you question ALL your progress. Your talents, your it factor and you are tempted to QUIT. Am I right or am I right?

Listen, boo, we’ve all been there.

We’ve all felt like we were throwing spaghetti at the wall and hoping it sticks.

Imposter syndrome does not mean you are a real life imposter. Stop allowing it from keeping you from your dreams.

You CAN energetically move through this and turn that comparison into fuel for your passionate fiery soul.

How?

Girlfriend… Step into your worth. Believe in yourself and your it factor. TRUST that the universe is putting everything you need to be successful at the time it needs to be there for you and turn your light outward. Next time you feel like a fraud, I want you to remember that you’re likely too focused on yourself so rather than directing that focus on all the areas you’re lacking, redirect it to where it can be most useful and joyful — which is always on helping the collective and helping others rise.
