5 Steps to Reclaim Your Voice and Unleash Your Wild Woman

Patriarchy has suppressed women for generations. Countless voices have been silenced due to the “rules” and “programming” patriarchy implemented. Women have falsely believed their voices don’t matter, shouldn’t be heard and it certainly shouldn’t make waves and rock the proverbial boat.

Below you’ll find a few examples of the false programming:

  • Be a good girl.

  • Just sit & look pretty.

  • Don’t be so loud.

  • You don’t know enough.

  • Who do you think you are?

  • You’re too emotional.

  • You talk too much.

  • You over think everything.

  • The kids are your job.

  • You’re bossy.

This programming has led to the suppression of women’s voices around the globe.

In order to Unleash your Wild Woman, and reclaim your voice, one thing needs to be understood. The Wild Woman looks different to every woman. There’s no set of rules or programs one has to adhere to, to unleash their wild. You simply have to uncover your foundational truth and embody it.

Ready to Unleash your Wild?

Here are 5 steps to begin your Wild Journey:

1. Uncover the programming and systems that have silenced you. Take an inventory of all the belief systems that have permeated your life. Write them down and then ask yourself, why have you believed them?

2. Release the programming and systems that no longer serve you. Once you have identified your programming and false beliefs, it’s time to release them. A few ways to do this:

  • Work with a holistic healer

  • Join a women’s circle

  • Write an angry/forgiveness letter to yourself and those who have been part of the programming, and then burn it.

3. Replace the programming and false beliefs with your foundational truths. Ask yourself the following questions, then meditate and journal what comes up for you.

  • What do I value?

  • What’s important to me?

  • What’s the vision I have for my life?

  • What is my truth?

Use these questions to guide you into finding your voice again.

4. Clear your throat chakra. The throat chakra is where self-expression, communication and creativity reside. When it’s blocked or out of alignment, we lose our ability to communicate effectively, our emotions become out of balance, and we can experience physical symptoms such as neck pain, thyroid problems, and hoarseness.

Clearing your throat chakra enables you to reclaim your voice. Utilize the following to begin clearing this sacred space.

  • Meditation

  • Reiki

  • Journaling

  • Crystals: amazonite, quartz, turquoise, aqua marine.

  • Herbs: sage, eucalyptus, elderberry, geranium, lemongrass

  • Affirmations: “My voice is heard.” “I honor my voice.” “I speak my truth.”

5. Embody your truth. Ask yourself, who needs to hear my truth? Most of the time it’s you. As you unpack the layers of false beliefs and programming, you will become more aligned with your true essence. Whatever your truth is, don’t shy away from it. It’s yours and it’s full of value.

Speak up. Don’t remain silent. Shine your light.

The world needs your Wild now more than ever.
