PAST: THE HANGED MAN
This is a very complex and interesting card to have in the past placement. On one hand, The Hanged Man is hanging out alone. He is peaceful and content. He has a light that shines bright from his crown chakra, but he is not putting his light into action. Instead he is just hanging there, contemplating and standing still, using this time to reflect, ponder the world, and strengthen his inner systems.
There is nothing wrong with remaining still, it's actually quite necessary to still yourself when enduring a personal transformation in order to prepare yourself for your next move or for the big changes that await you.
With 2016 gone and the major shift our culture has endured over the past 6 months, it's no wonder you felt like standing still; in order to remain centered even under harsh conditions. Call it hibernation if you will, but it was a mandatory act, for what is around the corner is going to take incredible clarity and inner strength.
PRESENT: TEN OF CUPS
The Ten of Cups shows a couple and dancing children praising the land over a rainbow and foreseeing greener pastures in the future. As you come out from your quiet place and finished the path of standing still while continuing to shine your light, you are ready to celebrate.
As The Hanged Man comes down from his steak, he no longer feels "upside down", he feels renewed, revived and ready to rejoice. It's not to say the current state of our planet is in a place of perfect harmony, but rather a place where other’s are ready for positive reform and transformation.

This is a powerful card to have in the present placement, because it assures us that happier, more peaceful loving times are in the future, families and communities are coming together, and the resources are plentiful! The time is now for you to bring others together to celebrate, and utilize all the planet has to offer you to support your work as an incredible change agent!
However, Cups are the element of water so it's imperative that you focus on helping others with their emotional state, while remaining fluid to changing your approach should any bumps appear in the road. You absolutely must be flexible. This is NOT a time to be controlling or rigid, but rather a time to step fully into your sensitive, spiritual, and intuitive nature.

The future forecast is rich with love and is a time of giving back. The fruits of your labor will be rewarded for serving others in healing their emotional states, shining your light so bright, and for bringing together communities that once appeared light and day because it is truly what the planet is craving… more light!
The Six of Pentacles shows a man holding the balance scales, which shows one man being fed, while the other waits his turn. We have The Hanged Man to thank for his lengthy hibernation and for honoring the light within himself in order to be able to give back to those in need. It is because of him that your future role as a lightworker will be abundantly rewarded, not only just monetarily but spiritually.
Any fear based mindset has left the room and instead your inner systems feel nourished, balanced, and overflowing with magnetic force, which is why you are able to give without feeling hungry.
