Your creative work deserves to be seen, appreciated, and valued. By embracing these easy-to-follow methods, you’ll not only grow your business but also create a foundation for long-term success that stays true to your passion and purpose. Let’s dive in and discover how you can take your creative business to new heights with confidence and clarity.
1| Dream up three ideas daily
Keep a journal or an Evernote file (my fave!) and jot down THREE ideas every day that can help you make more money, expand your fanbase, increase your sales, boost your productivity, gain you more recognition, connect you with more people, etc. It doesn't matter how wild or how impractical the ideas get, just log them! You'll find many gold nuggets along the way that you can implement. Easy.
2| Network network network
Get out there and talk about yourself and your work! Online and offline. Everywhere you go. Every time something related comes up, talk about what you're working on. Not like a pain the elbow would do! Just be excited about what you're doing, authentically excited. Or talk about how challenging a particular project is turning out to be. Tell stories about yourself and your work.
People love stories! If you're not comfortable doing this, understand that it's important for you to GET comfortable doing it. Trust me, it doesn't happen overnight; it's a process. I can help you with it because I went through it myself and I help every single one of my clients through the same process. Easy, eventually!
3| Consider personal growth
When you allow yourself to grow as a person, you will be amazed at how your business follows suit. For example, when you work on your fitness and healthy eating habits, the rest of your life seems to fall right into line as well. When you study the law of attraction, the law starts to become apparent in everything you do, business included. When you step into bigger shoes and take on leadership responsibilities, you start to receive more offers to be a leader. Try it. Super simple.
There you have it! Try these three easy strategies and let me know how they work for you.
